Trevor Leaman
Trevor Leaman is a member of the Australian Indigenous Astronomy Research Group, ( He is also a PhD candidate in the School of Humanities & Languages, the University of New South Wales, researching the astronomical traditions of the Wiradjuri people of central NSW, with support & guidance from Wiradjuri Elders & Communities. In a past life he earned diplomas in civil & mechanical engineering, degrees in biology & forest ecology, and more recently earned his MSc in astronomy, which included a major project examining the astronomy of the Aboriginal people near Ooldea, South Australia. He has also worked as an astronomy educator at Ayres Rock Resort, Launceston Planetarium, and Sydney Observatory.
