Caroline Lohmann-Hancock

Caroline is a Senior Lecturer/Researcher within Social Justice, equity and diversity at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s and leads on PhDs in Social Justice. She has also worked in a variety of academic and voluntary settings which focus on equality. Her research interests centre on social justice and exclusion, developing a sustainable and equitable society, power and control in society, identity, learning and teaching and the social reproduction of inequality. She has worked on a range of funded research projects including ‘Evaluation of ‘Hafal Let’s Talk Project’; Raising Awareness and Changing Attitudes with Young People about Violence against Women and Domestic Abuse: Hafan, UNCRC training across Wales: Welsh Government and a Training Needs Assessment of UNCRC for the Jersey Government alongside giving young people a voice within the ‘Youth Engagement – Ein Llais’ project on behalf of Dyfed-Powys Police Commissioner.
